Closing the academic year
On Wednesday, 2 July 2025, the Rector of Blida 2 University, Prof. « Kourtel Farid« , inaugurated the closing of the 2024–25 academic year in the auditorium, in the presence of many guests of honour and ministers.
In his opening speech, the Rector emphasised that this inauguration is a double celebration, combining between two events; the first is the Closing the academic year, and the second, is the celebration of Youth and Independence Day, on July 05 of each year. After welcoming the attendees, he outlined the university’s pedagogical and scientific achievements during the 2024–25 academic year, and its strategy for the 2025–26 academic year. He explained how the university directorate aims to achieve quality standards that will enable the university to be ranked nationally, regionally and internationally. He emphasised the role of the University of Blida 2 in promoting local and national economic development through its agreements with various socio-economic actors
The ceremony also marked the signing of three agreements between the University of Blida 2, the Local Development Bank, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Blida Province), and the Regional Radio of Blida.
In the end, the Rector of the University honoured:
- Professors’ holders of a professorship at the 50th session.
- First Students of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees
- Students’ holders of five-star student certificate.
