Quality Assurance Committee

The University of Blida 2 seeks to enhance the quality of higher education, scientific research, and university services through the development of an internal quality assurance system that enables it to achieve its strategic objectives.

Within this framework, the Quality Assurance Cell was established at the University of Blida 2 as an internal mechanism to support this orientation and to ensure the proper and consistent implementation of activities in accordance with national and international quality standards.

The Quality Assurance Cell constitutes one of the key instruments for promoting a culture of quality and ensuring continuous improvement in academic and administrative performance. It aims to apply national and international quality standards in the fields of education, scientific research, and university governance, thereby contributing to improved training outcomes and institutional excellence. The Cell is also responsible for evaluating academic programs, monitoring academic performance, and providing recommendations for the development of curricula and university services, in line with quality criteria adopted by the supervisory authorities.

As part of the reforms in the higher education sector, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research established a National Committee for the Implementation of a Quality Assurance System in Higher Education (CIAQES) in 2010. The mission of this national committee is to support Quality Assurance Cells (CAQ) and Quality Assurance Officers (RQA) at the national level.

At the initial stage, the University of Blida 2 aims to lay the foundations of an internal quality assurance system that will enable it to obtain ISO 9001:2015 certification, as part of a comprehensive and integrated approach toward quality and academic excellence.

  • National and international standards in the field of university quality assurance;
  • The ISO 9001:2015 standard as a starting point for sound administrative organization and continuous improvement.

  • Developing mechanisms for self-assessment and external evaluation;
  • Aligning with national and international standards (such as ISO 9001:2015);
  • Supporting training, research, and administrative units in improving their performance.

To support the University of Blida 2 in the design, implementation, and evaluation of an internal quality assurance system covering all key areas (teaching and training, scientific research, governance, and university services).

  • To establish a comprehensive internal quality assurance system within the university;
  • To assess and improve performance across all areas of university activity;
  • To prepare the university for national and international academic accreditation;
  • To promote a culture of quality among university stakeholders;
  • To prepare the university for compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards as an initial step.
