An inspection visit to the « Intensive Language Centre »
Rector of the University of Blida 2 today conducted an inspection visit to the **Intensive Language Centre **, to assess the progress of registration procedures and the reception conditions for prospective trainees, in the presence of Centre Director Dr. Fatima Zahali.
The Rector inspected the Centre’s offices, followed the registration process at first hand, and provided guidance to staff to ensure smooth reception and streamlined procedures for registrants. He received a detailed briefing from the Centre Director on the registration stages and organisational measures taken to manage the process — particularly in light of the exceptionally high demand the Centre is experiencing.
Figures presented during the visit illustrated the scale of this demand: **English** alone attracted **1,200 registrants**, followed by **100 in French**, **100 in German**, **50 each in Spanish and Italian**, and **10 in Turkish**, with most groups having already reached full capacity. The daily registration rate exceeded **100 registrants**.
In his address during the visit, the Rector affirmed that * »learning foreign languages has become an indispensable scientific and professional necessity, and that the strong demand for the Centre’s services reflects the trust it has earned and the quality of training it delivers. »* He added that the university will continue to support the Centre and provide the necessary resources to improve reception and training conditions, commending the efforts of the staff and calling for continued rigorous organisation.
