The university Blida 2 welcomed a specialized technical team from Algérie Télécom in order to investigate the continuing disruption to the internet

The university, Blida 2 – Lounici Ali, today welcomed a specialized technical team from Algérie Télécom in order to investigate the continuing disruption to the internet, what possibly generated that disruption, and factors that were internal or external to the university. The technical team was also requested to provide technical assistance, and hopefully a remedy, that might help fix the problem permanently.

During this visit the rector, Professor Farid Kortel, stated that having the internet connection to be stable, and of good quality, is very consequential, as the university is promoting its vision for digitalization to improve the way most, if not all, administrative and academic procedures are carried out online, and making the connection to be stable is also very important for the university to operate.

In the course of the visit the affiliated technical team from Algérie Telecom, also pledged to conduct a thorough assessment of the entire network in order to identify where there may be weaknesses, as well as they pledged to provide a technical report that outlined the solutions identified, and that proposed a timeline to implement.
