The Directorate Council of the University of Blida 2 meeting

Today, the Directorate Council of the University of Blida 2 Lounici Ali held its periodic meeting, chaired by Professor Farid Kourtel, Rector of the University, in the presence of his vice-rectors, deans of faculties, the official in charge of managing the Higher School for Teachers programs, alongside representatives from the General Secretariat, the Central Library, and the university’s financial services.

The meeting began with a follow-up on the recommendations of the previous council, where attendees confirmed the complete implementation of all recommendations. The council’s proceedings indicated that the pedagogical process is progressing at a normal pace with strict adherence to the calendar, reflecting its positive regularity in line with the start of the academic year.

In another context, the council emphasized what was stated regarding the conditions for defending doctoral theses, particularly the necessity of proving 36 months, in addition to the requirement of presenting an English language proficiency certificate at B2 level, in compliance with the standards established in this framework.

Within the framework of openness to international programs and enhancing student capabilities, the council reviewed the latest developments related to activating the « LEADS Center » program, which provides specialized training in business management and entrepreneurship, alongside the « Study in Algeria » program.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Professor Farid Kourtel emphasized the necessity of continuing diligent work and discipline in executing the tasks assigned to various services, calling for continuous vigilance and strict commitment to specified deadlines and timelines.
