Rector of the University of Blida 2 – Lounici Ali, opened today the National Conference on “The Algerian Poetic Text in the First Quarter of the 21st Century

Professor Farid Kourtel, Rector of the University of Blida 2 – Lounici Ali, opened today the National Conference on “The Algerian Poetic Text in the First Quarter of the 21st Century: Homeland, Identity, Acculturation, Experimentation, and Form,” organized by the Faculty of Arts and Languages.
Conference chair Professor Omar Berdoui highlighted the decline in interest and celebration of poetry, calling for greater academic focus on contemporary Algerian poetry. He noted that the event aims to shed light on new poetic experiences and their creative contributions to the national cultural scene.
Professor Kourtel praised the efforts behind organizing the conference, reaffirming the university’s commitment to supporting such events that highlight the value of Algerian literature and explore its modern evolution.
