The University of Blida 2 Lounici Ali has launched the Awareness Days on Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation, an initiative designed to instill an entrepreneurial spirit among students and encourage them to develop creative start-up projects. The activities began at the Faculty of Law and Political Science and will continue successively across the university’s faculties.
During the opening ceremony, Rector Professor Farid Kourtel urged students to seize the opportunities offered through the Business Incubator and the Entrepreneurship Development Center, emphasizing that “success is a decision, not a choice.” He also pointed out the vital role of the university’s economic interfaces in facilitating students’ entry into the business world.
Speakers highlighted the significance of Executive Decree No. 1275, which aims to shift university education from traditional learning toward entrepreneurial thinking. They stressed the importance of mentoring students and refining their innovative ideas, while outlining the university’s strategy to integrate them into small and medium-sized enterprise projects in collaboration with economic partners.
The awareness campaign continues in the coming days across the remaining faculties, coordinated by the Entrepreneurship Development Center, the Business Incubator, the Technology Support and Innovation Center, and the University–Economic Liaison Office.
