Professor Farid Kourtel, Rector of the University of Blida 2, held an extensive meeting with the teams of the university’s Social Medical Center and the Psychological Support Center to discuss ways to enhance the health and psychological services offered to students and the university community.
The meeting, held at the university’s headquarters, addressed the improvement of medical service quality, the strengthening of psychological support programs, and the challenges faced by both teams in carrying out their duties.
Professor Kourtel emphasized the importance of physical and mental well-being as key factors in students’ academic success, stressing the university’s commitment to providing a comprehensive healthy environment and supporting both centers with the necessary resources.
The meeting also discussed an action plan that includes first-aid training sessions for students and staff, awareness programs on physical and mental health, open days for screening and prevention of chronic diseases, and enhanced coordination with partner health institutions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the rector praised the dedication of the medical team and reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to supporting these vital centers to ensure the best services for the university community.
