The Rector of the university of Blida 2 at delivere a keynote lecture at the National People’s Assembly’s Committee on Economic Affairs

At the invitation of the National People’s Assembly’s Committee on Economic Affairs, Development, Industry, Trade and Planning, Professor Farid Kourtel, Rector of the University of Blida 2, delivered a keynote lecture during a parliamentary study day titled “The Challenge of African Economic Integration: Toward an Effective Partnership.”

His presentation focused on “The Fourth Intra-African Trade Fair: A Step Toward African Economic Integration,” highlighting the fair’s role as a strategic platform for boosting trade exchanges and strengthening economic partnerships among African countries.

The event comes as part of parliamentary efforts to promote continental economic integration and activate African cooperation frameworks.

At the end of the session, the committee’s chair honored Professor Kourtel, reflecting the university’s contribution to enriching the national dialogue on strategic economic issues.
