The University of Blida 2 helding Board of Directors

The University of Blida 2 held Board of Directors today, chaired by Professor Saïd Rahmani, ector of the University of Algiers 2 and Chairman of the Board of Blida 2, in the presence of Professor Farid Kourtel and board members. During the meeting, the board unanimously approved the university’s supplementary budget aimed at strengthening scientific research and technological development.

The approval adjusts expenditures related to research management, technological development, and support for innovation and start-up creation. This follows the university’s success in converting nine innovative projects into officially recognized start-ups, with specific financial allocations set for each project based on precise criteria.

The nine projects were distributed across the faculties: three in the Faculty of Economics, Business and Management Sciences; three in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; two in the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences; and one in the Faculty of Letters and Languages.

At the close of the session, Professor Saïd Rahmani emphasized continued efforts to advance research and innovation, while Professor Farid Kourtel commended the outcomes of the meeting, highlighting its role in strengthening the university’s position as an incubator of ideas that support local and national development.
