The University of Blida 2 hosts a cross-country running race commemorating the blessed Liberation Revolution

The University of Blida 2 Lounici Ali hosted this morning a cross-country running race open to students, professors, and staff, as part of the activities commemorating the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the blessed Liberation Revolution.

The race, organized by the Sub-Directorate of Scientific, Cultural and Sports Activities, witnessed wide participation from various segments of the university community, in a competitive atmosphere marked by national spirit and youthful enthusiasm.

At the conclusion of the event, the University Rector, Professor Farid Kourtel, honored the top three winners from each category of participants, where the winners received certificates of appreciation and encouraging prizes. He affirmed that « this race comes as a symbol of the determination of youth who must continue the covenant in the footsteps of the righteous martyrs. »

This initiative aims to connect emerging generations with the history of the Liberation Revolution and the sacrifices of the November martyrs, through the use of sports activity as a means to celebrate this immortal national occasion, thereby promoting university sports at the institution.
