University of Blida 2 explores ways to link digital media with emerging institutions in a scientific meeting

The Rector of University of Blida 2 , Professor Farid Kourtel, inaugurated this morning the scientific forum on Digital Media and Start-ups, organized by the Shoala Media Club at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The event was supervised by the heads of the university’s four economic interfaces, alongside journalists specialized in digital media.
In his official opening remarks, Professor Kourtel emphasized the importance of linking academic research with economic realities, noting that “universities today are required to keep pace with rapid digital transformations and to employ modern technologies in support of national development.” He added that “digital media has become a key driver of innovation and entrepreneurship, and the university must be at the heart of this technological revolution by supporting start-up projects and encouraging a spirit of initiative among students.”
This initiative comes as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with the economic sector and provide spaces for dialogue between academics, economic actors, and media professionals, in line with the state’s orientation toward the digital economy and support for entrepreneurship.
