University of Blida 2 Lounici Ali organized a study day at the Faculty of Law and Political Science under the theme “Road Safety and Security: Between Legislation and Real-World Challenges.”

The event aimed to raise awareness about traffic safety and highlight the gap between legal frameworks and practical implementation.

University rector Professor Farid Kourtel inaugurated the event, emphasizing that road accidents have become a serious threat to lives, particularly among young people, and calling for greater awareness efforts and scientific research to develop practical solutions.

Study day Chair Dr. Jamila Hamida stated that the study day sought to analyze legal texts and national strategies on road safety and assess their implementation on the ground.
