University of Blida 2 organized a national conference today at the Faculty of Economic, Commercial and Management Sciences on “Unemployment and Employment among Algerian University Graduates: Between Reality and Expectations, with Reference to Some International Experiences.”
The event, opened by University rector Professor Farid Kourtel, focused on the challenges of graduate employment and the need to align higher education with labor market demands. He highlighted the role of business incubators in promoting student entrepreneurship, noting recent funding for innovative projects that support job creation and sustainable development.
Conference Chair Professor Sofiane Fekarcha emphasized the importance of combining local analysis with international best practices, while Professor Mustapha Bouchama stressed the need for practical, research-based solutions to reduce unemployment and enhance economic stability.
