Academics and experts discuss activating mechanisms to protect state lands at a national forum at Blida 2 University

The Faculty of Law and Political Science at University of Blida 2 hosted on Monday the proceedings of a national forum titled « Protection and Preservation of State Lands: Between Reality and Activation, » attended by a select group of academics and specialized legal experts.
The forum was officially opened by University Director Professor Farid Kourtel, in the presence of deputy deans, research professors, and representatives from bodies concerned with national property management.
In his opening speech, Professor Kourtel emphasized that « protecting state lands is not merely an administrative procedure, but rather a national responsibility that requires effective legislative and institutional integration, » pointing to « the urgent necessity to bridge the gap between legal texts and their practical field implementation. »
For her part, the forum’s chairperson Dr. Wahiba Ben Nasser explained that « this scientific gathering comes in the context of increasing challenges facing the national property protection system. » She added that « the forum seeks to build communication between researchers and field practitioners, aiming to produce a comprehensive vision that combines academic depth with practical application. »
