Blida 2 University hoste a national symposium on the governance of public procurement in light of Law 23-12
Blida 2 University hosted today, at the Faculty of Law and Political Science, a national symposium on the governance of public procurement in light of Law 23-12, dedicated to the reading and analysis of Law 23-12 issued in August 2023, which sets the general rules for public procurement.
The opening ceremony was supervised by the Vice-Rector of the University, who emphasized the importance of accompanying ongoing legal reforms and strengthening the principles of governance and transparency in public procurement in support of sustainable development.
The Dean of the Faculty highlighted the academic role of the Faculty in keeping pace with the new legal framework through research and training. In turn, the Head of the Research Laboratory stressed the central role of scientific research in analyzing new legal texts, while the Chairman of the Symposium underlined the importance of such initiatives in promoting dialogue between the university and field professionals.
The symposium witnessed wide participation from several Algerian provinces, including Ain Témouchent, Tizi Ouzou, Constantine, and Sétif.
