The Faculty of Economic Sciences celebrates the anniversary of December 11th with an exhibition and competition of traditional crafts and talents, with wide participation from students and staff
On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the December 11 demonstrations, the Faculty of Economic, Commercial and Management Sciences organized the exhibition “Creativity of Talents and Traditional Crafts,” with wide participation from students, staff, and university clubs. The initiative aimed to promote traditional crafts and revive local cultural heritage within the university community.
Held as a competition supervised by a specialized jury, the exhibition featured various traditional activities, including cooking, pastry-making, hand weaving, traditional clothing, and other artisanal products reflecting Algeria’s cultural heritage.
The University Rector, Professor Farid Kortel, visited the exhibition with the faculty dean and the university secretary-general, praising the creativity and craftsmanship on display and stressing the importance of such initiatives in strengthening cultural identity and enriching university life. Winners in each category will be announced and honored at the closing ceremony.
