The Minister of Higher Education conducts a working visit and inspection to Blida 2 University and praises it as a lever for achieving development

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Baddari, paid a working visit to University of Blida 2 , accompanied by the Governor of Blida Province and the University’s Rector, as part of the commemoration of the historic demonstrations of 11 December 1960. The visit included the inauguration of new university facilities and the signing of eight partnership agreements with academic and economic institutions aimed at strengthening scientific research and enhancing socio-economic engagement.
The Minister emphasized that the visit aligns with ongoing efforts to modernize the higher education system and promote innovation and entrepreneurship as foundations for a knowledge-based economy. He highlighted the role of Blida 2 University as a specialized hub in the humanities and economic sciences, and as a driver of development. The Governor and the Rector also praised the achievements made and the university’s contribution to local and national development.
The visit further included the opening of the “Saidoun Abdelkader – El-Affroun 8” student residence and the university village, as well as an inspection of the business incubator and entrepreneurship center, where the delegation reviewed students’ projects. The delegation also visited the “Inside” support center dedicated to students with disabilities, before concluding the tour with the recognition of outstanding students, including entrepreneurs, students with special needs, and athletes.
