The Minister of Higher Education oversees the signing of eight cooperation agreements between Blida 2 University and university institutions and national bodies… and honors outstanding students

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Kamel Baddari, visited Blida 2 University, where he oversaw the signing of eight strategic cooperation agreements with national institutions and Algerian universities, in addition to honoring outstanding students in entrepreneurship and sports.
The event began with a presentation by Dr. Malika Mohammedi on the historical significance of the December 11, 1960 demonstrations, emphasizing the university’s role in preserving national memory.
The agreements were signed with: The Competition Council. The Civil Protection Directorate of Blida Province. Algiers 1, 2, and 3 Universities. The Higher School of Digital Economics. Tipaza and Khemis Miliana Universities. The university’s rector, Professor Farid Kourtel, presented the institution’s partnership achievements, noting the establishment of 29 partnerships with economic institutions, 14 agreements with foreign universities including Cambridge, and 16 agreements with national universities. He also announced the registration of 17 startups and micro-enterprises within the university’s economic interface and the organization of programs to integrate people with disabilities.
Minister Baddari stressed that the visit is part of efforts to modernize the university system and promote innovation and entrepreneurship to build a knowledge-based economy, praising Blida 2 University’s commitment to national priorities. The Governor of Blida, Jamal Hsihas, also called for strengthening ties between researchers and local communities to support sustainable development.
The event concluded with the honoring of outstanding students in innovation, entrepreneurial projects, and sports, in recognition of their academic and creative achievements.
