The Director of Blida 2 University receives the new Social Services Committee in a welcoming consultative meeting

The Rector of University of Blida 2 , Professor Farid Kourtel, received the newly elected Social Services Committee, representing both faculty members and staff, in a consultative welcome meeting. The Rector congratulated the committee members on the trust placed in them by the university community and discussed the committee’s future prospects, particularly with regard to enhancing its performance and increasing the value of social benefits.

Discussions focused on key allowances, including the back-to-school grant, as well as Ramadan and Eid (Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha) allowances. Emphasis was placed on prioritizing benefits that cover all members of the university community, in line with the principles of inclusiveness and social equity. The Rector stressed that social services are not a luxury but a right for every employee and faculty member, while the newly elected committee expressed its commitment to working diligently and maintaining close coordination with the university administration to better serve the university community.
