Victory Day was commemorated at Blida 2 University amidst a prominent official presence
Blida 2 University hosted a ceremony commemorating Victory Day (March 19, 1962), attended by prominent official and civil figures, led by the University Rector, Professor Bachir Amer, along with several officials.
In his speech, the Rector emphasized the importance of the occasion in reinforcing national values and strengthening the university’s connection with its social environment. Meanwhile, Professor Salima Mesrati highlighted its role in fostering a sense of belonging and pride in national identity. The event also featured a historical presentation on the significance of the 1962 ceasefire.
The ceremony included the signing of cooperation agreements with several institutions aimed at enhancing student employability and promoting applied research. It concluded with the honoring of professors and staff in recognition of their contributions to the university and society.
