University of Blida 2 Lounici Ali concluded today the pedagogical training activities for newly recruited professors for the academic year 2024-2025, with a ceremony for awarding end-of-training certificates, which witnessed the honoring of top-performing professors and the official confirmation of successful candidates in their positions.
Professor Farid Kourtel, Rector of University of Blida 2 Lounici Ali, officially opened the event where he delivered a speech emphasizing the pivotal role of the university professor in building a distinguished educational system, stressing the importance of continuous training and pedagogical support as a fundamental pillar for developing and improving the quality of teaching within the university institution.
For his part, Dr. Omar Ghezazi, Head of the Pedagogical Support Cell for newly recruited professors training, reviewed the outcomes of the training that extended throughout the academic year, noting that the program relied on both in-person and digital training formats, and focused on equipping new professors with the necessary skills to perform their teaching duties with high efficiency.
In this context, honoring top performers was one of the highlights of the event, as University of Blida 2 secured 12th place nationally in the training of professors in modern technologies, and accordingly, the top performers among them were honored, with one outstanding professor from each faculty, in recognition of their excellence.
In another context, the ceremony witnessed the presence of newly recruited professors for the academic year 2025-2026, in anticipation of launching a new training cycle, within the framework of the university’s strategy aimed at ensuring the continuity of training and pedagogical support programs.
It is worth noting that the event was attended by the vice-rectors and Deans, along with a number of administrative and pedagogical officials at the university, in a celebratory atmosphere that reflected the institution’s interest in supporting its new teaching staff.
