The Faculty of lettres and Languages hosted today an awareness day dedicated to Decree 1165, which defines the new regulatory framework for registration and re-registration procedures across various university programs, with a focus on pedagogical monitoring and evaluation.
The event was officially opened by Professor Farid Kourtel, the University Rector, who emphasized the significance of the decree in improving students’ academic pathways. “Decree 1165 establishes a comprehensive vision with clear standards to safeguard students’ rights and obligations while maintaining the required academic level. It also provides precise mechanisms for pedagogical support,” he stated, highlighting the need for all stakeholders to fully understand the provisions of this regulatory text to ensure its proper implementation.
For his part, Professor Khalifa Karti, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Languages, stressed the importance of raising awareness of the decree among all actors. “This meeting aims to ensure a full understanding of the new provisions,” he said, noting the commitment to applying them in ways that serve students’ interests and enhance the quality of training.
