The Journal of the Sociology of Crime for Scientific Research and Studies of Criminal Phenomena is a     biannual, peer-reviewed, thematic, and open-access academic periodical issued by the Laboratory for Crime and Deviance Between Culture and Social Representations at Université Blida 2 – Ali Lounici.

The journal is dedicated to publishing research and scientific studies in the field of criminology and related disciplines, including penology, criminal policy, victimology, forensic psychology, and criminal anthropology, among others. It also welcomes translations of sociological studies in the field of contemporary criminology, as well as critical and analytical readings of theoretical and empirical research.

The journal places particular emphasis on the originality and scientific rigor of submitted work, ensuring full adherence to recognized academic research methodologies. It publishes in Arabic, English, and French, and all submissions are subject to academic peer-review standards.

This journal is aimed at researchers—including faculty members and doctoral candidates—in the fields of social sciences, anthropology, and criminal sciences, as well as professionals working within the criminal justice system and forensic institutions
