University of Blida 2 is adopting a new approach to university entrepreneurship by presenting its students’ entrepreneurial projects to investors in preparation for funding

University of Blida 2 held its first-ever direct pitch sessions this Monday, bringing together approximately thirty student project holders and a panel of investors and business figures from the Entrepreneurs and Industrialists Club, under the theme ** »From the University to the World of Investment. »**
The event, framed under Decision No. 1275 as amended by Decision No. 008, marked a significant shift from theoretical academic exercises to real investment negotiations. Most projects were well received for their innovation and feasibility, with funding review procedures expected to begin in the coming days in coordination with the Liaison and Investors Office.
Rector Professor Bachir Ameur described the event as reflecting a clear strategic commitment to genuine university–industry engagement, expressing hope it would become a recurring initiative. Dr. DJamelEddine Silini, Head of the Liaison Office, called it a foundation for a new model of organic partnership between Algerian universities and the investment sector — one with national replication potential.
The sessions were jointly organized by the Liaison Office, the Entrepreneurship Development Center, the Business Incubator, and the Technology Support and Innovation Center, in partnership with the Entrepreneurs and Industrialists Club.
