Literature and anthropology are the focus of a national conference at the University of Blida 2

The Faculty of Letters and Languages at Blida 2 University hosted a national conference titled “Literature and Anthropology: From Field to Text,” with broad participation from researchers across Algerian universities.
The conference was opened by Professor Safaa Oulad Heddar, on behalf of the Rector, who emphasized the importance of integrating literature and anthropology to better understand humans within their cultural and social contexts and to enrich literary texts with deeper human dimensions.
The Dean described the event as a scientific platform for analyzing literary texts through anthropological approaches, while the conference chair highlighted its aim to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and produce recommendations for future research.
The event brought together around 100 researchers from 24 universities and national research institutions.
