University of Blida 2 Introduces the « ProtoMarket II » Challenge and the Presidential Innovation Competition

The Business Incubator of the University of Blida 2 organised today an open information day presenting the second edition of the Prototype Funding Challenge « ProtoMarket II » and the Presidential Competition for the Best Innovative Project and Best Start-up.

The event was opened by Rector Professor Bachir Ameur, in the presence of Vice-Rector for Pedagogy Professor Saïd Boukhaouche. In his address, the Rector reaffirmed the university administration’s commitment to mobilising all resources in support of students and researchers with promising projects, stressing that « innovation and university entrepreneurship are a fundamental driver for linking scientific research to its economic and social environment. »

The session was facilitated by Business Incubator Director Professor Asma Istanbuli, alongside Professor Fatima Kouba and Dr. Djouher Abllache, in coordination with the University-Enterprise Liaison Office. Workshops covered prototype funding mechanisms, pathways for transitioning ideas and research from concept to marketable functional models, and the eligibility criteria for the Presidential Competition — which offers successful applicants official recognition and pioneering funding opportunities. The event also featured an open session between the team and student project holders, providing guidance on registration procedures and available support mechanisms.
