Blida 2 University organize a national conference entitled “Children’s Theatre in the Digital Age: Towards Interactive Creative Spaces”

Blida 2 University organized a national conference entitled “Children’s Theatre in the Digital Age: Towards Interactive Creative Spaces”, in coordination with the Faculty of Arts and Languages and the National Institute for Training of Education Sector Staff, and with the support of a research group specialized in children’s literature.

The conference was officially opened by the university rector Bachir Ameur, who emphasized the importance of children’s theatre in shaping younger generations, linking it to societal issues, and strengthening cooperation between the university, school, and family, especially in light of digital transformation and the need to integrate modern technologies into this field.

The Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Languages praised the efforts made to organize the event, while the conference chair highlighted that the aim is to develop Algerian children’s theatre through interdisciplinary approaches combining literature, arts, education, and technology, in order to harness digital spaces to enhance creativity and interaction among children.
