Training day entitled « Employing Artificial Intelligence Tools in Scientific and Pedagogical Research »
The Grand Lecture Hall – Saïd Ayadi – at the University of Blida 2 hosted, this morning, a training day entitled « Employing Artificial Intelligence Tools in Scientific and Pedagogical Research, » organized by the University’s Digital Strategy Office in coordination with the Information and Communication Technology Center and the Artificial Intelligence House.
The event was officially opened by Rector Professor Bachir Ameur, in the presence of his deputies, faculty deans, and administrative officials. In his opening remarks, Professor Amer stressed the importance of keeping pace with rapid technological transformations, emphasizing the need to enable faculty members to employ AI tools efficiently and consciously in service of scientific research and the pedagogical process.
The chair of the training day, Dr. Abdelmadjid Gasmi El Hassani, noted that the event aimed not merely to introduce AI tools, but to build critical capacities enabling their effective use without compromising the integrity of authentic scientific inquiry.
The program included three practical workshops covering: an introduction to AI tools and correct prompting fundamentals; AI-based research sources; and data analysis using AI with application of the IMRAD model in academic writing. Sessions were delivered by Dr. Karim Hamina, specialist in computer science and AI software development, and Dr. Abdelkader El Afer, professor at the Institute of Engineering, University of Blida 1.
