Blida 2 University reviews the performance of its laboratories for 2026 and finalizes the program for 2027

Professor Bachir Ameur, Rector of the University of Blida 2, today opened an extended meeting to evaluate the research laboratories’ activity and set priorities for 2027. Professor Meriem Touati, Vice Rector for Scientific Research, chaired the proceedings, with faculty deans and their deputies, laboratory directors, and faculty secretaries-general in attendance.

The Rector described the laboratory as « a true lever for knowledge production, » called for higher-quality publications in ranked journals, and announced the second edition of the Institutional Excellence Awards (Best Researcher, Best Staff Member, Best Faculty).

The meeting covered scientific publishing, laboratory budget consumption, the 2026 results, and the 2027 programme. Professor Touati stressed that an objective evaluation of 2026 is the basis for building measurable 2027 programmes, and called for respecting budget-spending deadlines and reporting requirements.

The meeting concluded with recommendations to encourage high-quality publishing, monitor budget consumption regularly, and prepare 2027 programmes with measurable objectives.
