University of Blida 2 hosts Digital Technology and Innovation Day in partnership with Algeria Telecom
The University of Blida 2 hosted its « Technology and Digital Innovation Day » in partnership with Algérie Télécom – Blida, organized by the University Business Incubator under the theme « Towards a Safe and Sustainable Digital Environment for Your Projects. »
Vice-Rector for External Relations Professor Safaa Ouled Haddar inaugurated the event, emphasizing the university’s commitment to bridging the academic sphere and the digital economy, while Business Incubator Director Professor Asma Istanbuli oversaw its proceedings. Representatives from Algérie Télécom’s regional agencies and the University–Socioeconomic Environment Liaison Center also attended.
The program covered three key areas: the student-dedicated digital platform, electronic payment and financial solutions, and advanced fiber optic infrastructure. The event also saw the launch of Algérie Télécom’s exclusive « STARTUPS » offer — a package of over twenty tailored solutions for startups and self-employed entrepreneurs. The University Innovation Club contributed to the event’s organization, marking another step in the university’s growing role within the national digital economy ecosystem.
