La Faculté des sciences économiques de l’Université Blida 2 lance un débat national sur les moteurs du développement : l’éducation, la santé et l’agriculture

The University of Blida 2, through its Faculty of Economics, Business, and Management Sciences and the Laboratory of Economic and Human Development, organized a national scientific conference titled: “Developing key sectors (education, health, agriculture) as a driver of development in Algeria.” The event gathered researchers and academics from مختلف universities across the country.
The Dean, Mohamed Lamine Merakchi, stated that these sectors are essential for sustainable development as they contribute to building human capital, emphasizing the faculty’s role in guiding research toward practical policy-making.
The conference president, Faiza Baïlich, highlighted that these sectors should be viewed as an integrated system of development, aiming to produce actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
Key discussions focused on digitalizing the health sector, improving governance, modernizing agriculture, and strengthening food security, with an emphasis on practical, implementable solutions.
