University of Blida 2 hosted a national conference on the role of the university as an economic actor in achieving sustainable development. Professor Maryam Touati emphasized that the university has become a strategic partner in development, focusing on aligning scientific research with real-world needs and strengthening partnerships with the economic sector.

For her part, Dr. Fatiha Gachrou explained that the conference aims to bridge the gap between the university and the economic sector by addressing key issues such as local development, technology transfer, and the role of scientific research in supporting economic decision-making.
