University of Blida 2 receives a delegation from the University of Nizwa in Oman and agrees on a framework for academic partnership.
The Rector of the University of Blida 2, Professor Bachir Ameur, along with his team, today received an academic delegation from the University of Nizwa in the Sultanate of Oman. The consultative visit resulted in an agreement on the broad outlines of a forthcoming cooperation agreement between the two institutions.
The visiting delegation included Professor Ridwan Ben Achour, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs; Professor Masoud Al-Hadidi, Head of the Arabic Language Department; and Professor Chafiqa Waïl, a faculty member in the same department and its Quality Assurance Coordinator.
In this regard, both parties aspire to strengthen cooperation between the Arabic Language departments of the two universities through academic exchange programs for students and faculty, the launch of joint research projects, and the organization of scientific events bringing together Algerian and Omani expertise — with the provisions of this cooperative framework expected to come into effect in the near future.
In this context, Professor Bachir Ameur affirmed that « this meeting embodies a shared will to build genuine academic bridges between Algeria and the Sultanate of Oman, and that the University of Blida 2 is committed to deepening its openness toward its Arab environment, in service of scientific research and our unifying language. »
