Two-day training session entitled « Supporting Students with Disabilities in the University Environment »
Blida 2 University launched a two-day training session entitled « Supporting Students with Disabilities in the University Environment, » organized by the Inside Center to strengthen support and inclusion mechanisms for students with special needs.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Vice-Rector for Pedagogy Professor Saïd Boukhaouch, representing the Rector, in the presence of academics and specialists. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to equal opportunities and to enhancing pedagogical, psychological, and social support for these students.
Professor Rabie El Abzouzi, Director of the Inside Center, highlighted that the program aims to equip university staff and academic mentors with modern scientific approaches combining psychological, educational, and technological perspectives.
The first day featured workshops on disability and university accessibility, inclusion challenges, inclusive teaching practices, psychological support, assistive technologies, and field experiences in supporting students with disabilities.
