University of Blida 2 concludes a year of pedagogical training for its new faculty members
The University of Blida 2 today brought to a close the pedagogical training programme for newly recruited faculty members — 2025 cohort (first batch) — with an official ceremony during which training completion certificates were presented and successful participants were confirmed in their posts.
In his opening address, Rector Professor Bachir Ameur stressed that the university professor is the cornerstone of a high-quality educational system, affirming that continuous training and pedagogical support are two fundamental pillars for advancing teaching quality within the university.
Dr. Omar Ghazazi, Head of the Pedagogical Support Cell for Newly Recruited Faculty, presented a review of the programme’s outcomes over the course of the academic year, noting that it combined both in-person and digital formats and aimed to equip newly appointed faculty with the skills necessary to carry out their teaching duties with competence.
The ceremony was attended by the Rector’s deputies, faculty deans, and a number of administrative and pedagogical officials, in a celebratory atmosphere reflecting the university’s commitment to accompanying and developing its teaching staff.
