The Faculty of Law opens a window into university life for new students

The Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Blida 2 hosted today the ** »The University Through the Eyes of Its Students »** event, officially opened by Rector Professor Bachir Ameur, in the presence of Faculty Dean Professor Farida Ben Othman — an initiative designed to strengthen communication bridges between new and returning students.
In his opening address, the Rector encouraged newly enrolled students to engage openly with their senior peers and draw on their experiences, gathering information on academic pathways, study methods, guidance, and specialisation prospects — affirming that a senior student’s experience remains one of the most genuine references to help newcomers integrate quickly into university life. He also invited students to freely express their views and suggestions about their university, as its primary partners in its development.
The programme featured an **open dialogue** between new and returning students, as well as a **free expression session** during which participants shared their opinions and suggestions about the university and expressed themselves through drawing on dedicated paper murals. Students also competed in an **intellectual quiz** in an interactive and engaging atmosphere, followed by a **talent showcase** for artistic and creative expression. The event concluded with a **prize ceremony** honouring the quiz winners.
This initiative reflects the University of Blida 2’s commitment to enriching student life through interactive events that engage students as active partners in shaping the university environment, foster a sense of belonging, and open broader spaces for expression, creativity, and talent development.
