A specialized training day on “Artificial Intelligence in Foreign Language Teaching, with a Focus on Italian”

The Laboratory LITALSA of Literature and Languages in the Italian Language Department at the Faculty of Blida 2 University launched a specialized training day on “Artificial Intelligence in Foreign Language Teaching, with a Focus on Italian”.
The day opened with a speech by the Rector of the University, Professor Farid Kourtel, who welcomed the Italian Ambassador, Alberto Cutillo. The staff of the Laboratory explained this day of training as part of the bilateral agreement linking Blida 2 University with the University of Perugia in Italy to help strengthen the capacity of faculty and students to use artificial intelligence tools to study language and to highlight best practices in the area, according to Professor Marouane Addou, Director of the Laboratory. Lectures and workshops on using chatbots and interactive tools in teaching Italian literature will be delivered by Professor Letizia Cinganotto and Dr. Sabrina Stroppa from the University of Perugia.
