The Quality Assurance Unit of the University of Blida 2 Lounici Ali held its first preparatory meeting

The Quality Assurance Unit of the University of Blida 2 Lounici Ali held today its first preparatory meeting of the year, in the presence of the Vice-Rector in charge of pedagogy, Professor Saïd Boukhaouch, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, Professor Abdel Samad Aqab.
The meeting was led by Dr Mrieme Touati, Head of the Unit, and Professor Fatima Nibouche, an expert member of the National Quality Assurance Committee at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the participation of the heads of the faculties’ sub-units as well as the members of the main unit.
During the meeting, Professor Nibouche explained the mechanisms for implementing ISO 9001 standards, which are expected to foster a dynamic of continuous improvement within the university. She emphasized the importance of teamwork in consolidating a “quality culture” and highlighted the need to involve all stakeholders, including professors, students, and administrative staff. She also commended the strong will and serious commitment shown by the university’s leadership, especially its Rector, Professor Farid Kourtel, to achieve this goal.
For her part, Professor Touati stressed the importance of seriousness and joint collaboration among the sub-units. She outlined the administrative and field measures put in place to achieve the ranking the university aspires to, noting the institution’s commitment to mobilizing all efforts in this regard. She further recalled the recommendation of the Rector, Professor Farid Kourtel, to begin actual fieldwork in parallel with the guidance of supervisory authorities starting from January 2026.
