Establishment the “Best Research Professor Award” Committee

Professor Farid Kourtel, Rector of University of Blida 2 , chaired the meeting to establish the “Best Research Professor Award” Committee, following the award’s announcement during the opening of the current academic year. Professor Amer Bachir was appointed as chair, with members representing the university’s four faculties.

The Rector reviewed the selection criteria, emphasizing contributions that enhance the university’s international visibility and ranking, including publications in indexed journals, participation in scientific conferences, citation impact, and teaching in English.

Professor Kourtel noted that the initiative aims to motivate researchers and recognize their efforts, reaffirming the university’s commitment to rewarding research excellence.
