The Rector of University of Blida 2 a meeting with the Digitalization Cell office

Professor Farid Kourtel, Rector of University of Blida 2 Lounici Ali, held this morning an important meeting with the Digitalization Cell office, in the presence of his vice-rector and faculty deans, within the framework of activating the digital transformation strategy at the university institution.

Professor Kourtel opened the meeting proceedings with a speech in which he emphasized the importance of digitalization as a fundamental lever for developing the university system and improving the quality of services provided to professors, employees and students, before the Deputy Rector for Scientific Research, Professor Nasreddine Bouhassaine, took over the management of the session and follow-up of the discussion proceedings.

In this context, the meeting, which was attended by those in charge of digitalization headed by Dr. Gasmi ElHassani Abdelmadjid, Head of the Digitalization Cell, focused on several main axes, including discussion of specific strategies for implementing digital projects, as well as setting a clear roadmap for the coming phase, particularly regarding the digitalization of administrative processes and documents.

In this context, special focus was placed on the work certificate digitalization project, as it is one of the priorities that contribute to reducing administrative burdens on professors and employees.

Other digitalization operation strategies will be successively implemented to include various university facilities and services, according to a rigorous timeline that takes into account priorities and ensures a gradual transition towards an advanced smart university, in complete harmony with national orientations aimed at modernizing the higher education and scientific research sector.
