The university of Blida 2 hoste a national conference titled “Authenticity and Memory »

On the eve of the 71st anniversary of the Algerian Liberation Revolution, Universityof Blida 2 hosted a national conference titled “Authenticity and Memory: The False Equivalence Between Historical Narratives and Colonial Ideology.”
The event was opened by Dr. Safa Ouled Haddar, Vice-Rector for External Relations, who reaffirmed the university’s commitment to preserving national memory. Professor Karima Aït Dahmane, the conference chair, explained that the goal is to critically examine and deconstruct colonial discourse and its mechanisms of historical distortion.
Organized by the LITALSA Laboratory at the Faculty of Letters and Languages, the two-day conference features lectures and workshops dedicated to exploring these themes.
