University of Blida 2 concluded today a specialized training program on prevention and campus security for central-region universities.
The closing ceremony, held at the “Said Ayadi” Conference Hall, was officially announced by Professor Farid Bouzid, Director of Human Resources at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The event was attended by Professor Farid Kourtel, Rector of University of Blida 2 , a representative of the National Gendarmerie Command, and officials from various sectors.
In his closing remarks, Professor Bouzid expressed his satisfaction with the program’s outcomes, stressing that “this training reflects the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening security measures within the university environment and reinforces the strategic partnership with the National Gendarmerie.” He added that the knowledge and skills gained by participants will contribute to fostering a culture of vigilance and protecting university spaces.
The ceremony included the awarding of participation certificates to internal security personnel from central-region universities, as well as the recognition of senior officers from the National Gendarmerie for their efforts in ensuring the success of the program.
The training covered several themes, including combating crime and social issues within university settings and enhancing prevention and security intervention mechanisms.
